Hey guys so I got back from filming not long ago, and I think that it was a really productive session. We filmed pretty much all the parts we needed to from the part we decided to film today, which was all the scenes in the car. We also filmed some extra shots when and where we saw them. So for example, but without giving too much away; we saw were we were filming a bench and it looked quite fitting to our ideas and continuity from another part of our video and fitted in with the generic idea and purpose of he video. So we decided to shoot here and get a few videos which we may or may not include, but what we think are good to have there either to add or as a backup.
So we are not filming agin now until Friday, so ill be back with more updates on filing nearer then!

First filming tonight!
Hey guys so me, Annabel and our two actors are starting our filming tonight for Undercover Martyn. Tonight we will aim top film all the car scenes. However we know that we have the limitation of lighting as it will quickly start to go dark at around 4 o'clock. Meaning that we will have to be quick setting up the equipment and to start filming as many shorts as we can in the time we have, but we will not rush to get things done as this wont look as good as if we spend longer ensuring we get every shot right. So we may need to reschedule to come back to these scenes at another date.
So ill do another quick post later telling you all how we got on with the day and everything...
Bye for now!!

CD cover research
Hey everyone, I've been looking at some album covers for a bit of inspiration for the one we have to make as part of our A2 course. I have found two which I think are really striking and cleverly created.
So here they are for you to see...
1)

This is my first choice and probably my favourite album cover. I think that the artwork is very good and I just think that the album cover is reflective on the music on the record itself; flowy, easy listening and long guitar riffs.
2)

This is my second choice as I think the painting/ artwork is amazing. Also I like it because it keeps the highly recognised tongue logo in it which appears in a lot of The Rolling Stones work.
3)

This is my third choice. I do prefer more colour on album covers, however I like the idea of something impossible and unrealistic on album covers. On this cover it obviously being the "cosmic egg".
These are my favourite album covers and will be what my group will be trying to create when making ours for our project. hopefully ours will stand out and have something as like these do on ours.

Cool album cover i've just found
Hello everyone, quite a while ago i posted about some of my favourite album covers. I have just seen an album cover which really caught my eye. I think that it is very striking. This is something that we could consider portraying in our album cover for our final piece. Here it is...
Gum - Flash in the pan
I like how this cover is so simplistic however effective. with the dull background against the colourful artist name. I also like how the cover looks quite retro and i think that it reflects the kind of music that Gum produces.

Textural analysis of Kasabian's Fire music video
Hello all, I have done a textural analysis of the music video for Fire by Kasabian! I have integrated both sound and mise en scene, then camera and editing. As i found that these both linked in well together in the video and both shared points. I hope you guys like it!!

Appearance effect practice
Hello again everyone! the other day me and Annabel had a mess around with the appearance effect. So Annabel filmed me outside clicking my finger in different places so it looked like that it was that which was moving me around. This is an idea that we want to emulate in our final production as we think that it would fit in well with our chosen song.
Undercover Martyn - Two Door Cinema Club
Hey guys this is the actual music video for the song we are doing for our video! Hopefully ours will be nearly as good as this! ;)
